Assistant Day Cruise Director Full-time Job

South Sea Sailing is part of the South Sea Cruises Group and is Fiji’s most exciting day cruise operating from Port Denarau aboard our 78-foot sailing catamaran, SABRE! The role entails managing the day’s itinerary, liaising with guests and crew, as well as ensuring, beverage and all activities onboard are delivered to the highest standards.

To deliver this world class experience, we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Day Cruise Director who will assist the Cruise Director to deliver the day’s itinerary whilst creating a fun, memorable, entertaining, and safe day on the water.

Key areas of responsibility and competency:

• The successful applicant should be confident, responsible, organized, have excellent communication skills and be passionate about delivering an experience like no other. 
• Highly organised with an eye for detail in ensuring the food & beverage and on-board entertainment consistently meets the highest expectations in which SABRE has been delivering since its launch.
• Proficiency in water sports, water safety and snorkelling are desirable, but not essential.

Desired qualifications and/or experience:

• Relevant experience in roles which involve in delivering customer experiences and services to the highest standard.  
• Proven ability to be organised and manage all a full day’s itinerary.  
• Excellent communication skills.
• Maritime short courses desirable but not essential as they can be obtained.
