Business Development Representative
We are recruiting for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing Team and Clients. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To be successful in this role you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
•Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email, and social strategies
•Drive sales growth and pipeline by setting up qualified meetings for Sales Team.
•Be a subject matter expert and ambassador of Pacific Kitchens expansive list products, services & solutions.
•Staying up to date with new services/products and plans
•Assigning the appropriate services/products to clients.
•Presenting information to clients.
•Participating in sales meetings.
•Maintaining customer info and records.
•Setting up meetings for clients and executives.
•Reporting to the business development management when required.
•Candidate needs commercial catering equipment product knowledge and sales experience.
•Knowledge of, and contacts in the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes), FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and Retail Line.
•Ex- Chef or Kitchen Equipment sales executive would be an added advantage.
•Technical knowledge of electrical, gas, water, drainage service connections to commercial equipment.
•Experience and knowledge of the applications of various equipment, benefits and features, advantages of our product range.
•Experience in the use and maintenance of commercial catering equipment.
•Able to work throughout Fiji and South Pacific when necessary.
•Able to read commercial kitchen drawings and quote equipment according to specifications.
•Willing to spend 80% of time on the road visiting customers with 20% of time at office doing administration tasks.
•Be self-motivated, able to work in a team and autonomously.
•Be sales focused, able to work to achieve budgets.
