Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and a recognized leader in the Motoring Industry in Fiji, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the Human Resources Assistant position to be based at our Head Office in Suva. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of position descriptions, selection criteria, job advertisements and role specific interview guides.
• Coordinate recruitment process including advertising, applicant screening, interviewing and reference checks.
• Execute onboarding, orientations and off-boarding procedures for staff.
• Assist in salary administration
• Assist staff in HR related requests and queries.
• Understand and promote people dynamics, passion for employee support and wellbeing
• Provide support and guidance on performance management, employee benefits, leave management, and disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Provide clerical and administration support to the overall HR department.

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in HR, Management, Psychology or related field from a reputed institute.
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in related field.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
• Ability to travel to other locations.
• Valid Group 2 Driving License.
