The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communication & Knowledge Manager to lead and manage all communications and knowledge sharing efforts of PHAMA Plus. Based at our Program Support Unit (PSU) in Suva, the role will provide timely support across nine Pacific Island Countries to enhance both internal and external understanding of the Program's work and to amplify and solidify its impact. This involves creating and delivering innovative, inclusive, and culturally appropriate communications and knowledge products and events. Additionally, the role will provide strategic advice to the PHAMA Plus Leadership Team interventions, successes and learnings are promoted in effective and innovative ways.
Moreover, the successful incumbent will work closely with DFAT and MFAT regional and country posts to ensure public diplomacy efforts are strengthened through PHAMA Plus interventions and events. They will also maintain a strong working relationship with Pacific and international media to ensure visibility and coverage of newsworthy Pacific stories and high-level Program events.
