Engineering and Maintenance Supervisor Full-time Job

Fiji Dairy Pte Limited is a leading manufacturer of a range of dairy products including pasteurised milk, UHT milk, powdered milk, butter, yoghurt, fresh and sour cream and various other flavoured dairy products.

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and performance-oriented individual for the position of Engineering and Maintenance Supervisor to be based in our Head Office, Cunningham road, Nabua.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, the successful incumbent shall be responsible for the plant and machinery at Fiji Dairy Pte Limited. Key accountabilities include but not limited to:

•  Supervise the day-to-day engineering operations to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
• Ensure a preventative maintenance plan for all plant and machinery is managed at all times.
• Optimize plant and machinery performance, including maintenance work completion, machine condition monitoring, periodic inspections, and critical checkups of machines after maintenance service.
• Ensure all aspects of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, HACCP, environmental monitoring, traceability, and product release procedures are developed, implemented, and managed.
• Plan building repair and maintenance in a timely manner.
• Control maintenance costs within the agreed budget
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production and order completion reports to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing preferably in Electrical and Electronics field from a recognized institution 
• At least 5 years work experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing plant
• Understanding of Food Safety Regulation, HACCP and ISO standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and strong leadership qualities
• Should be performance driven and thrives on fast paced and demanding environment, whilst under pressure
• Have the drive, energy and personality to work as part of a team
• A valid group 2 driving license is mandatory
