Engineering Manager
The above position will be based in our factory and directly reports to our Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management & control of overall installation, repair and maintenance of all plant and machineries
- Assure that all plant and machineries are functioning according to its original specification
- Machinery failures, breakdowns & faulty operations are to be diagnosed/troubleshooted and ratified
- Service of all plant and machineries are to be done according to servicing program
- Design, development & implementation of structured preventative engineering program
- Implementation of process re-engineering programs to achieve productivity and efficiency
- Reduction of machine down and idle time
- Supervision, training and development of departmental employees to achieve overall departmental KPI’s
- Technical review and provide advice on complicated and complex engineering modifications, upgrades & breakdowns
- Simultaneously handling & management of tasks, projects and work assignments
Key Competency Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Working knowledge in PLC control machines, seamers, retort, flankers, bowel cutters, linkers, thermoformer, metal detector, cutters, compressors, broiler, ice making machines and cooling towers will be preferred
- Valid group 2 driving license
- Matured and result oriented employee
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
