Fabrication Technicians (Junior and Senior) Full-time Job

Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited is a joint venture company between CJ Patel & Co Ltd and Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka. Iceman represents world renowned brands like Copeland, Geneglace (France), Bitzer (Germany) and Heatcraft (Australia) and primarily deals with installation, assembling, selling and carrying out maintenance on prefabricated cold rooms, ice plants, refrigerated trucks and air conditioners. We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons for the below positionsto be based in Suva and Nadi.

FABRICATION TECHNICIANS (JUNIOR AND SENIOR)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fabricate metal structures and components to assemble frameworks.
• Form, fabricate and assemble commercial HVAC work systems.
• Perform first-line quality checks on finished products.
• Set up fabricating and metalworks machines.
• Conform with company health and safety regulations.
• Complete job reports for work performed.

 Key Requirements:

At least two years of hands-on work experience as a Fabricator. Having a firm understanding of the materials used for cool rooms, refrigerators and freezers, and cooling and heating units would be an added advantage. Some knowledge about Cool room panels and installation. Ability to handle required tools.

 

The successful incumbent will be working on various projects and commercial sites including installation and service of cold/storage rooms, freezer trucks, ice machines, supermarket display freezers, office air conditioning and cooling units, compressors, condensing units and evaporators etc.
