PIFON is seeking a highly motivated Finance Graduate Trainee to join our team in Nadi, Fiji. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent gratuate with a qualification in finance, business or accounting to gain practical experience in the non-profit sector and contribute to PIFON's mission. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports 
  • Help with budget preparation and monitoring 
  • Assist in the preparation of funding proposals and donor reports
  • Perfome payroll functions and ensure tax compliance 
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial management 
  • Ensure compliance with PIFON's financial policies and procedures 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, business, accounting, or related field 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • Preferable knowledge of MYOB and PayMaker softwares 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Attention to details and accuracy 
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges 

This is a full-time, 12-months trainee position with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funding. PIFON offers a competitive salary package and opportunities for professional development.
