Finance Officer (Re- advertised) Full-time Job

Newman Pte Limited is the largest electronic payments processor of prepaid mobile airtime top up services around the country. The key business focuses on prepaid mobile airtime top up services and recharge market including processing electronic purchases of prepaid mobile airtime and transaction processing for other pre-payment services.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly competent and experienced Finance Officer to be based in our Head Office in Suva.

Key Responsibilities:

Successful incumbent will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the Finance Department.

• Accurate and timely processing of receipts and invoices
• Capture all invoices in a timely manner to correct accounts
• Prepare daily banking
• Assist in commission payments
• Respond efficiently to customers and sales team queries
• Keep accurate records for all daily transactions for statutory reporting purposes
• Update internal systems with financial data and carry out timely reconciliations
• Effective participation in the monthly stock takes
• Assist in month end closing of the General Ledger and compilation of month end reports
• Submit and assist internal or external auditors in perusing documents relating to job role

 

Key requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a finance/accounts officer
• Computer literate and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and strong organisational skills
• Good communication skills, be proactive and willing to go the extra mile
• Must be a team player and be able assist team members as and when required
• A valid group 2 driving license would be an added advantage
