Are you a highly motivated individual looking to build a career in the travel and tourism industry?

We are on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic “GoFiji” team.

A GoFiji Business Development Manager is the face of our brand who will approach merchants and partners in Fiji to get them onboard the GoFiji super app. 

GoFiji is a brand new all-in-one travel and lifestyle super app that allows you to find the latest events happening in Fiji, discover local tours and attractions, make immediate bookings and best of all, redeem coupons and vouchers instantly for anything ranging from a restaurant, bar or retail store.

What we need from you

  • Development and maintenance of products to expand our client base using action plans focused on the market segment identified.

  • Acquire operators and venues to bring products, services and events onboard the GoFiji platform. 

  • Cultivate relationships with partners to help maximize their sales potential on GoFiji’s platform. 

  • Communicate GoFiji’s business strengths and brand value to partners. 

  • Provide training and operational support to partners on our processes and tools.

  • Continuously ensure the quality of products, in terms of pricing, inventory, exclusive privileges and maintain a market-leading position at all times.

  • Provide relevant information on identifying market trends and competitor updates to optimize business strategy - through assisting with data analysis, preparation of reports.

Who you ideally are 

  • 2 - 5 years work experience, preferably with 2 years of relevant experience in client servicing

  • Strong commercial sense with analytical, written and verbal communications skills that combine well with your organisational skills

  • Familiarity with Travel/Tourism products, especially Attractions, Tours, Spa & Wellness, F&B and local activities would be advantageous. 

  • Ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels and cultural backgrounds and work independently with minimal supervision

  • A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
