Internal Auditor Full-time Job

The Group is seeking to recruit an experienced and suitably qualified Internal Auditor to be based at our Head Office in Lami.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out audits of the assigned Group entities as per audit plan and scope.
• Assess current business practices against documented policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Identify potential areas of revenue leakage, cost efficiencies and process improvements through concise audit points.
• Appraise the reliability and operation of the accounting, financial and reporting systems.
• Perform audits through examination of records, data analytics and interviews with staff.
• Participate as necessary in the review of control aspects of the IT systems and systems revision before they are implemented.
• Perform follow-up audits to ascertain whether appropriate action is taken on significant audit findings.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
• Prepare audit reports and Communicate audit findings with precise recommendations.

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

• Degree or higher qualification in Accounting and Finance
• Minimum 4 years of experience in internal audit.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills.

Remuneration:
