Machine Operator Full-time Job

Alfa Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group that manufactures hygiene and consumer products for Fiji and international markets such as Pacific Laundry Bar, Malumu tissues, and Stelow and also holds the manufacturing license for world-renowned international brand Janola. We are looking for suitable candidates for the following position to be based in our factory in Lami.

MACHINE OPERATOR 

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate production machinery according to standard operating procedure
• Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process
• Work on the production line and monitor processes and output to ensure quality standard is maintained
• Assist with start-up of production cycle and product changeovers
• Perform routine machine maintenance checks on mechanical or computer operated equipments
• Ensure proper housekeeping of machine and adherence to safety protocols

 Key Requirements:

• Relevant qualification with at least 1-2 years’ work experience in a manufacturing plant or similar role
• Good understanding and knowledge of production procedures
• Possess analytical skills and ability to read schematics and manuals
• Physically fit and maintain great health
• Flexible in approach to working hours including shift work
