Project Engineer Full-time Job

Industrial and Marine Engineering Pte Limited (IMEL), a division of Carpenters Group of Companies, has an exciting opening for dynamic individuals to join IMEL in the following role based in Walu Bay, Suva

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Identify technical problems and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly project status reports and change orders.
• Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
• Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project Clients.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Budget monitoring and trend tracking.
• Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/ engineering and management project issues.
• Review and approve project Client invoices.
• Ensure effective engineering and Client communications.

Skills and Special Requirements/Licensing:

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years of working experience.
• AutoCAD highly desirable.
• BATC Safety Training.
• Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Able to travel & work overseas wherever Clients’ require.
• Licensed engineer is preferred.
