Project Manager Full-time Job

Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited is a joint venture company between CJ Patel & Co Pte Ltd and Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka. Iceman represents world renowned brands like Copeland, Geneglace (France), Bitzer (Germany) and Heatcraft (Australia) and primarily deals with installation, assembling, selling and carrying out maintenance on prefabricated cold rooms, ice plants, refrigerated trucks and air conditioners.   

 PROJECT MANAGER 

About the role:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our continually expanding Refrigeration client base to cover Fiji wide. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a leading, stable company who are continuing to grow in the current economic climate. Candidates must have demonstrable experience working within the Refrigeration or building services industry with demonstrable experience putting together projects and running them through to handover. The position will be based in Suva.

 

What will you do:

• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Estimate project costs and develop budgets in collaboration with the finance and technical team.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
• Generate comprehensive progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

 Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a project management role, at least 5+ years of experience specifically within the refrigeration/HVAC or building services industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, equipment, and installation practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management and design tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
