Quality Assurance Supervisor Full-time Job

Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited is a food manufacturing entity of CJ Patel Group of Companies. We specialize in the production of noodles, extruded snacks and confectionery for Fiji and International markets and are co-manufacturers for Nestle. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experiencedQuality Assurance Supervisor to be based in Ba.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality assurance testing's and ensure all products are compliant with standards and specifications set and all deviations escalated for corrective action and maintain product release and the quarantine system documentation.
• Contribute towards HACCP activities and documentation.
• Assist and participate actively in External Food Safety Audits and GAP closure.
• Conduct training as per the Factory Training Plan (GMP, Food Safety, Quality Briefings pertaining to incidents, new process, changes, and new document implementation.
• Maintain controlled documents for all procedures, SOPs, standards and update as required.

 Qualification, Knowledge, and Skills

• Degree in Biology/Chemistry/Food Science or related field
• At least two years’ work experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing plant
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP and Food Safety Management
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Strong supervisory skills and attention to detail
