Refrigeration Technicians (Junior and Senior) Full-time Job

Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited is a joint venture company between CJ Patel & Co Ltd and Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka. Iceman represents world renowned brands like Copeland, Geneglace (France), Bitzer (Germany) and Heatcraft (Australia) and primarily deals with installation, assembling, selling and carrying out maintenance on prefabricated cold rooms, ice plants, refrigerated trucks and air conditioners. We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons for the below positionsto be based in Suva and Nadi.

REFRIGERATION TECHNICIANS (JUNIOR AND SENIOR)

 Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting refrigeration equipment failures
• Repair and installation of cool room refrigeration machines, display units and coolers and all types of air conditioners.
• Work on estimating material requirements and determining plan and requirements for start-up, testing, and servicing HVAC equipment.
• Processing and completing work orders and job sheets.
• Attend to emergency breakdowns and be on-call after for further assignments should there be emergency.

Key Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Refrigeration and air-condition. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Flexible in approach to working hours including on-call. Gas license will be an added advantage but not mandatory.

The successful incumbent will be working on various projects and commercial sites including installation and service of cold/storage rooms, freezer trucks, ice machines, supermarket display freezers, office air conditioning and cooling units, compressors, condensing units and evaporators etc.
